Connexions Cumbria is committed to ensuring that all young people are kept safe and away from potential harm and dangers.  Sometimes you can find yourself in a situation where you don’t feel safe and this can be very daunting and frightening especially if you don’t know where to go to get help.

This section provides information on where to get help and advice for yourself and/or your friends.  It has lots of useful links and info to make sure all young people can have a good life and be safe no matter what problems they may face.

There is some information about abuse and bullying in this section – Connexions have a team of Personal Advisers  who you can speak to in confidence about any issues relating you bullying or abuse you may have. If you think this might be happening to you don’t suffer in silence contact us by phoning our free phone number: 0800 435 709.  What you talk about is confidential and information will only be shared with anyone outside Connexions if we think that you or another young person are in danger or at risk of serious harm. If so, only those who need to know will find out and we will discuss it with you first and offer you lots of support.
