A comprehensive library with information on careers, courses and funding. Assistance with job hunting, interview technique and CV preparation and resources to help identify your skills

Next Step Advisers will be able to help you:

  • Explore relevant opportunities.
  • Understand more about your strengths and weaknesses.
  • Identify your skills and goals.
  • Help you choose the best option for you.
  • Plan your next steps.
  • If appropriate, support in finding ways of overcoming barriers that might affect access to learning, training and employment.
  • Use computer programs to help you generate career ideas and research courses.

    Refer you to services who will be better able to help you.

    What you can expect from us:

    • Free, impartial, confidential information and advice.
    • A written summary of your discussion with actions clearly identified.
    • To inform you if appointment times are altered.

    What we expect from you:

    • To complete our client enquiry form on your first contact with us.

    • To be as clear as possible on what you want from us.
    • To let us know in advance if you are unable to keep an appointment.
    • To give us feedback on the service you received by completing our survey, this helps us to make improvements.
