NSPCC

The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children is the UK's leading charity specialising in child protection and the prevention of cruelty to children. They have been directly involved in protecting children and campaigning on their behalf since 1884.

If you're worried about a child you know, have a friend who needs help or if you need help yourself, the NSPCC are there for you. You can find plenty of information on their website - see below.

If you need further help or advice, are concerned about a child at risk or you're at risk yourself, visit the online help line or phone 0808 800 500. They are open 24 hours a day and the calls are free, unless you are calling from a mobile phone.
