E2E Entry to Employment

E2E is a user-friendly learning programme for young people who feel they are not yet ready to get a job or start training. It gives you the time you need to be trained and get a qualification.

E2E is all about you, no two experiences are the same. You'll get what YOU need - it could be work experience, skills or training. If you want money in your pocket, more confidence, new friends or a job, E2E can help you.

E2E is not school, it helps you one-to-one or in small groups and you can take as long as you need, there is no strict timescale. To help support you throughout the programme, a personal plan will be agreed between you, your key worker and your Connexions Personal Adviser. It will be reviewed with you at least every 4 weeks.

From April 1st 2006, payment rules changed and you will now be paid under Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) arrangements. With EMA you can earn £30 a week and if you progress well over the course, up to £500 in bonuses. Support with travel may be available dependant on individual circumstances.

It's important to note that - EMA does not affect any other household benefits or your part-time earnings. For an application form or further advice call 080 810 16 2 19 or visit the EMA website listed below.

If you are interested in finding out more about E2E and would like to apply, speak to a Connexions Personal Adviser by using our freephone number 0800 435 709 or call into your nearest centre.
