Student Accommodation

If you are looking for student accommodation, try and find somewhere close to where you are studying at a price you can afford. It is a good idea to choose somewhere which has plenty of facilities near at hand; a regular bus service, easy parking, shops, nightlife etc.

It is best to start looking for your accommodation as soon as you have received a letter of acceptance from the college or university. Don't leave it until the last minute! Many universities and colleges guarantee accommodation for first year students, so get in there quickly or you may be disappointed.

Some of the student accommodation available is:

  • At the university or college
  • A room in a house/flat
  • A private flat/house (if you can afford it)
  • At halls of residence

There are some sites relating to student accomodation which you may find useful listed below.
