Customer Satisfaction Survey Report

Background

Each year, Connexions Cumbria carries out a self-assessment to identify areas for improvement, which are used to develop key improvement actions in the Business Improvement Plan. Colleagues from partner agencies are invited to comment on the way that Connexions Cumbria delivers its services through a customer satisfaction survey. 

  •  In April 2008, a Customer Satisfaction Survey was circulated to schools and pupil referral units.
  •  Thirty-one organisations participated in the survey. An analysis of the results can be found below.

 The schools that participated in this survey reported high levels of satisfaction with the services and support provided by Connexions Cumbria.

 The survey findings indicate that:

  • Connexions Cumbria provides a good service to schools, with young people being effectively informed about the ways in which they can access information, advice and guidance services.
  • Connexions Cumbria provides high quality, impartial information advice and guidance that is tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Connexions Cumbria actively involves schools in planning information, advice and guidance provision and relevant elements of the curriculum.

 Main Findings:

Question 1 - Does Connexions Cumbria provide a good service for the young people in your school? 97% of respondents said that Connexions Cumbria provides a good service for the young people in their school.

Question 2 - Do you think that Connexions Cumbria effectively informs young people how to access information, advice and guidance services? 100% of respondents said that Connexions Cumbria effectively informs young people how to access information, advice and guidance services.

Question 3 - Does Connexions Cumbria provide high quality information, advice and guidance that meets the needs of the young people in your school? 97% of respondents said that Connexions Cumbria provides high quality information, advice and guidance that meets young people’s needs.

Question 4 - Does Connexions Cumbria provide advice that is impartial and based on young people’s needs? 100% of respondents said that Connexions Cumbria provides advice that is impartial and based on young people’s needs.

Question Five - Does Connexions Cumbria promote equality of opportunity? 100% of respondents said Connexions Cumbria promotes equality of opportunity.

Question Six - Does Connexions Cumbria work with your school effectively to plan information, advice and guidance provision and relevant elements of the curriculum? 97% of respondents said that Connexions Cumbria works effectively to plan information, advice and guidance provision and relevant elements of the curriculum.
